DONOR SCHOLARSHIPS

Scholarships are a source of funds that can help you pay for your college education. The John Wesley University Scholarship Application allows you to apply for all campus-based scholarships and campus-associated scholarships. Scholarship awards are based on academic performance, financial need and donor criteria. John Wesley University scholarships are awarded to students who exemplify Christian characteristics through their actions in volunteering and serving in the church and/or through Christian organizations of the community while continuing strong academic performance in school.

Scholarship Criteria for ALL Awards

  • Students must meet the individual requirements for the donor scholarship opportunity chosen.
  • Students must be fully accepted with a paid Intent to Register deposit.
  • Students must be enrolled full-time (12 hours minimum) each semester.
  • Students must maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress according to the catalog.
  • Students must re-apply annually.
  • A Scholarship Application MUST be submitted with all required additional documentation. Incomplete and missing applications will NOT be reviewed.

L  Anderson: Based on documented need and personal investment in the University Community.

Motsinger: Based on documented need and personal investment in the University Community.

Clark: For Christian ministry, elementary Christian school teacher, School of Management, 3.0 GPA, thank you note.

Sisk: Must maintain a 3.0 GPA, thank you note.

Peters: Student must be Pentecostal, if available, otherwise a Christian.

Wallace: For ministry student.

N  Anderson: Based on documented need and personal investment in the University Community.

Carter: Ministry student, at least 3/4 time, maintain cumulative C average.

Cruise: For ministry student.

Lane: For students preparing for Christian ministries.

McBee: Missionary students receive priority. Otherwise, aid limited to students pursuing full time Christian work.

Parker: For student preparing for full time ministry.

Streater: For students preparing for Christian ministries.

Wood: For ministry student, based on need and scholastic achievement.

Beck: Based on documented need and personal investment in the University Community.

EMC: For EMC ministry student. Needy student from Atlantic District to be priority.

General: Based on documented need and personal investment in the University Community.

Temple: Based on documented need and personal investment in the University Community.

Shining Light: Based on documented need and personal investment in the University Community.

Lincoln SOM: Needy students enrolled in School of Management .
